Shop Helper

Part-time cleaning and support role — no mechanic experience or repair work involved.

We're looking for a reliable, hard-working person to help keep our shop clean, organized, and running smoothly. This is not a technician position — you won't be working on vehicles. It's a support role focused on cleaning, prep work, and helping our customers have a good experience.

What you'll actually do:

  • Keep the shop, bathroom, and locker room clean and stocked
  • Sweep and clear the shop floor of debris, fluids, and used parts
  • Drive the company van to pick up parts and shuttle customers (valid license required)
  • Wash and prep rental vehicles so they're ready to go
  • Give serviced vehicles a quick exterior/interior clean before they're returned to customers
  • Help close down the shop at the end of the day

What you need:

  • Able to lift 50 lbs and stay active on your feet for a shift (sweeping, reaching, using cleaning equipment)
  • Comfortable talking with customers in a friendly, professional way
  • Reliable and able to follow a routine independently
  • Valid driver's license (required)

The schedule: 4-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, day/after-school hours. No nights. No weekends.

The pay: $12–$13/hour, plus employee discount and tuition reimbursement.
